Thanks for your response, Kashif! I encourage you not to let your fear of making mistakes prevent you from publishing blog posts. Virtually every one of us, myself included, makes mistakes in our writing. As long as we remain receptive to criticism and committed to improving our abilities, there’s no reason we should hide behind the anxiety of making grammatical errors. This is true for all people, and especially, it seems to me, for those who are learning English (or any other language) as a second language. This doesn’t mean I suggest publishing content in a careless way or avoiding working with an editor when appropriate, but that the key is to strike a healthy balance between virtually never publishing our ideas because we fear being critiqued on the one hand and publishing every line we ‘jot down’, regardless of its quality, on the other.
